A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

So you wanna be a popstar, huh?

Strawberry Fool is the worst entertainment agency in Canada, and Mia and Noah are two of it's least talented members, but they're forced into the spotlight when their agent signs them up for an international singing reality TV show!

They'll face manipulative producers, shady editors and terrifying judges... and maybe even make some new friends along the way!

Features:

  • explore a 2D space to find fun collectibles
  • bust a move in turn-based dance battles
  • you can dig through the trash in this game

The demo version of Opona is now available for Windows, Mac and Linux, it's around 20-30 minutes long. The full game is still in development, so if you have any feedback please let me know :)

Very well done! The art, music, and gameplay are all high-quality. I love the vibes and unseriousness; very charming demo. I'm hooked; excited to see more!

Wow, thank you! That's really nice to hear :) I'll keep working to make the final game as good as possible!

Really liking it so far! I think the concept and artwork are really very interesting. And Richie is hilarious, lot of chuckle moments just in the demo.

Dance offs did get a little repetitive with same actions over and over, but I really like the system and am guessing when you continue to level up your stats it will become more interesting and make you work harder. Great start.

P.S. I really got incensed with Evelyn's heehee and making me sign the paper. Great characters lol

Thanks so much for all your nice comments, Alpha!

Yeah I agree with you about the battle system, I'm already thinking about ways to add some depth to it! I was planning on keeping it simple at the start and making it more complex as the game goes on (like you said) but I think it might be a bit TOO simple right now lmao...

Thanks again for playing the demo, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :)
